Pharmacy First Plus
Enhanced pharmacy service with our prescribing pharmacist
What is Pharmacy First Plus?
Pharmacy First Plus is an enhanced service available during Harvie's working hours. As a prescribing pharmacist, Harvie can provide consultations and issue prescriptions for a wider range of conditions than standard Pharmacy First services.
This means you can get treatments for more complex conditions without having to visit your GP, saving you time and providing faster access to the care you need.
Appointment Only
Meet Harvie
Harvie is our prescribing pharmacist with extensive clinical experience. As an independent prescriber, he has completed additional training to diagnose conditions and prescribe medications.
His expertise allows us to offer this enhanced service, providing you with more comprehensive care directly at your local pharmacy.
"The Pharmacy First Plus service has been a game-changer for me. I was able to get treatment for my chest infection directly from Harvie without having to wait for a GP appointment. The whole process took less than 30 minutes!"
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a charge for Pharmacy First services?
No, Pharmacy First is a free NHS service. If you're eligible for free prescriptions, any medications provided will also be free.
Do I need to make an appointment?
